Terms
These terms cover training with EVO Academy CIC and using this website. By joining a session or signing up as a member, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Notice and the club policies on the About page.
Membership and payment
Your first session is free. After that you can train as a monthly member by Direct Debit, or pay as you go by card whenever you come. Membership is a rolling monthly payment with no joining fee and no fixed term, and you can cancel at any time. Current prices are shown on the site or available on request, and concession and family rates exist so cost is never a barrier.
Direct Debit
Monthly memberships are collected by Direct Debit through GoCardless and are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. We will always tell you the amount and the date in advance, and we will give you notice before any change. You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time through your bank, and it helps us if you tell us too.
Pay as you go
Pay as you go sessions are paid by card. A session you have attended is not refundable. If we cancel a session you have paid for, we will refund it or credit it to another session, whichever you prefer.
Cancelling and refunds
You can stop your membership at any time by cancelling your Direct Debit. We do not pro rata part months, and missed sessions are not refunded. If the club has to cancel or move a session, we will let you know as soon as we can and put it right.
Joining and eligibility
Juniors and adults are welcome at the right session for their age. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian's consent to train. When you join, please give us accurate information and tell us about any medical or health needs that affect training, so we can keep you safe.
Conduct and safety
Wrestling is a contact sport with a real physical element. You take part within your own limits, follow your coaches' instructions, and warm up and train sensibly. Our Code of Conduct applies to everyone, and we may refuse or withdraw access where it is needed for safety or to protect the club and its members.
Safeguarding
We run to clear safeguarding policies for children and adults at risk, which you can read on the About page. If you ever have a concern, speak to a coach or our safeguarding lead.
Photography and media
We sometimes take photos or video at the club. We handle consent for this separately, and you can opt out at any time by telling us.
Our responsibility to you
We take reasonable care to run safe, well coached sessions. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, we are not responsible for loss or damage we could not reasonably have expected, or for personal belongings brought to the club.
Changes
We may update these terms or our prices from time to time. We will post changes here and, where it matters, tell members directly. Continuing to train means you accept the current terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
